Strong communication skills have always been important – we all know this. But right now, as we race to solve the climate crisis, effective communication skills are more important than ever. Because, let’s face it, trying to capture the attention of any audience these days is no easy task, let alone trying to convince someone to change their mind or change their behavior. The good news is there are ways to hone your communication skills in order to become a more persuasive and charismatic speaker and leader. Transforming our cities to save the planet is going to require us to use every tool we have in the tool box and effective speaking skills is one of those tools. Mayors and their staff are invited to join us on 26 October 2020 to learn the most up-to-date communication techniques to make you the most persuasive, trustworthy and engaging climate communicator you can be.
