This high level dialogue convenes key leaders to discuss the need for multilevel and multi-actor collaboration for accelerating climate emergency finance. The session builds upon the outcomes of the Glasgow Climate Pact adopted at COP26 with its explicit reference to multi-level action, in connection to the preparations towards COP27, including the potential Climate and Urbanization Ministerial, and a planned announcement of an Initiative of Sustainable Cities by the COP27 Presidency as part of the Solutions Day at COP27 on 17 November 2022.
