The 2021 edition offers an exciting five-day program featuring 20 sessions including strategic high-level dialogues, hands-on training sessions for policy makers and practitioners, as well as a variety of networking opportunities. By knowing more, urban leaders can act better in setting and achieving science-based climate action targets, and together, lead us in ambitiously tackling the climate emergency.
This year, Daring Cities 2021 will take place on the Hopin platform.
Hopin is a virtual venue with multiple interactive areas that are optimized for connecting and engaging. Attendees can move in and out of rooms just like an in-person event and enjoy global, diverse perspectives from compelling urban leaders who have brought about bold climate action as a response to the climate crisis.
This virtual conference-like setting will also give ample opportunities for networking and exchange.
Once you have selected your ticket on our registration page, you will have the following options:
Already have a Hopin account? No problem. Simply sign in and click the ‘Join event’ button. This will lead you to the event reception.
Do I need a Hopin account? If you choose to continue as a guest, you need to go through a two-step verification and confirmation process in order to access the event.
The virtual reception has many features.
Make sure you complete your profile ahead of the event. This will allow other attendees to get to know you better and connect with you more easily.

Don’t miss the Daring Cities connect sessions. These dedicated virtual networking sessions allow participants to meet fellow drivers of ambitious climate action, discuss new ideas, and expand your network.
Spend 60 minutes with us over the course of 4 – 8 October, and you’ll earn a signed Certificate of Participation. Participants will automatically receive their certificate within one week of the event if they pass the time criteria.
