The Bonn Dialogues are an in-person event held alongside the SB62 Climate Talks in Bonn, Germany. Invited local, subnational, and national governments, together with businesses, academia, and civil society, will discuss how to leverage successful, multilevel action.

Multilevel Action Plenary: From Town Hall COPs to NDCs3.0
The first half of the event will consist of high-level panel discussions and country deep dives, with local and regional leaders showcasing the work of their communities on the frontline.

Roundtables
In the second half of the day participants will have the opportunity to interact in roundtable discussions, engaging on topics such as the IPCC Special Report on Cities and Climate Change, science-based targets, nature-based solutions, and energy efficiency.

This year the UN-habitat 2024 report “Urban Content of NDCs: Local climate action explored through in-depth country analyses” will be discussed for the countries of Canada, Kenya, South Africa and Town Hall COPs.
This panel groups together diverse representatives from business to finance to research into how to build better partnerships for climate emergency policy implementation.
