Voices on the frontline: Advocacy for Small Island Developing States

As countries prepare to commit more ambitious urban outcomes in their NDCs, join us to reflect on what this means for resilience in Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Building on COP28, this session will aim to address what this ambition should look like for SIDS and their subnational governments. Together, we will examine gaps identified by the Global Stocktake and NDCs assessment of SIDS, consider ambition from planning to delivering local climate responses, and explore how partnerships can strengthen climate governance.
