Reaching out to all: Mainstreaming gender and social inclusion to enhance climate actions

The session will highlight diversity and gender intersectionality of climate impacts and explore the intrinsic linkages between gender-responsive climate action and a just transition. The idea is to deepen the understanding of the audience towards the need for, barriers to, and strategies for achieving more socially-inclusive climate resilience. The session is expected to provide innovative practical solutions for improving understanding of social inclusion; equip local governments with practical tools to incorporate social inclusion in climate resilience planning and present good practice case stories on gender and social inclusion.

This event will be held in English.
